Video is one of the important information carriers to perceive the dynamic changes of the environment. As a universal public media resource, video is not only a visual product, but also a kind of natural geographic spatial info data because of its space, time, rich information, diverse content and true expression.
SuperMap iServer 11i (2024) combines video-related technologies to provide video data publishing, streaming and management functions. It can also provide SuperMap iClient provide video data with spatial info which can be used to integrate with maps. These functions are described in detail in this chapter.
