SuperMap iServer services can be registered in batch to SuperMap iPortal, through iPortal it realizes service integration and unified management.

Register services in batch by the administrator

The steps are as follows:

  1. Log in to the portal as an administrator, click Home -> Administration -> Resource Management -> Service Management -> Batch Registration page
  2. Click the "Add directory service address" tab, enter the service address of the iServer service in the text box, such as "http: // supermapiserver: 8090 / iserver / services", click "OK" button, all the public services on the iServer server will be registered in iPortal. For the services in batch registration, the default setting is private (only allows service registrants to access), you can share the service by sharing settings.
  3. If you need to modify the catalog service address, first, click the "Edit" button to modify it, click OK, then the list will display a new catalog service address, then select the iServer server in the list, click "Register" , all GIS services on the iServer server are registered to iPortal. If you want to revoke the iServer server registration, just select the iServer server, click "unregister" or "delete" .
  4. You can use the registered service to make online maps on the Maps page. If the batch registered service is public, other users can access the services on the Services page in the iPortal page.

Register services by the ordinary user

For iPortal users, you can register SuperMap REST services, OGC services (WMS, WMTS, WFS, WCS, WPS) on the iPortal home page. You can also manually add maps or scenes in the services to the "My Maps" or "my scene".

In the iPortal home page to open the "service" page, click the "registration service" button on the right side, you can start the registration service:

  1. Set the basic information: select the service type, enter the service address, such as http: // supermapiserver: 8090 / iportal / services / map-china400 / rest, fill in the service name. If you are registering a service or a three-dimensional service, it will list all the maps or scenes in the service. You can check the checkboxes in front of the map or scene name. The selected map or scene will be added to "My Map ", or "my scene ", to view the services, you need to have accessing authority.
  1. Set the metadata information of the service, including the label, description information, the basic information of the service provider, where "label" helps to quickly identify the service, which is required to input.
  1. You can also set the service to be public and share it with all users (including anonymous users) of iPortal. You can also share it only to the specified users or share it with a given group so that the members of the group can discover and access the it. For more information, see Shared Services
  2. Click the "Register" button to complete the service registration
  3. The user's application for registration can only be registered successfully to the iPortal after being approved by the administrator. After you apply for registration, you can view the status of the service in My services. The registered successfully service supports dynamic online / offline verification, and the default update time is 30 minutes.
