Distributed Data Storage System

iServer DataStore is an application. You can quickly create data storage and connect it with iServer. And iServer provides data to iClient via APIs. Data uploaded from iClient can be stored in DataStore.

To ensure the frequent use of data storage, you can use multiple machines for DataStore to establish a distributed data storage system. You can connect one iServer with multiple DataStore, and configure different types of data storage with each DataStore. The types can be:

• Relation Data Storage: If you configure relation data storage in DataStore, the system will auto create a Postgre database for dataset store (*.udb, *.udd).
• Binary data storage: it stores any formats of data uploaded by users from iPortal. The data are stored in MongoDB.
• Tile data store: store map tile data in MongoDB.
• Spatio-temporal data storage: store spatiotemporal data in Elasticsearch.

iClient can access those data via iServer big data catalog service. After that, iClient can download, upload and even analyze those data.
