SuperMap iEdge is a GIS edge software platform deployed close to clients and data sources to achieve nearby service publishing and real-time analysis and computing, reducing response latency, bandwidth consumption, and cloud GIS center pressure. It provides efficient service publishing capability to support the quick publishing of massive vector data.
As the edge node between the GIS cloud and the application terminals, iEdge provides proxy service aggregation and cache acceleration technology, effectively improving the terminal access experience. And it offers content distribution, edge analysis, and computing capabilities to help build a more efficient and intelligent Cloud-Edge-Terminal GIS application system.
- Edge forward proxy and acceleration
- Proxy standard services: SuperMap REST service and OGC standard service
- Proxy Internet services: Baidu Map Service, Google map service, etc.
- Proxy services published by third-party platforms: open-source platforms and commercial platforms
- An efficient service acceleration mechanism greatly improves service throughput and reliability.
- Map Aggregation: Aggregate multiple maps from different sources into one map
- Data Aggregation: Aggregate multiple data from different sources into one data source
- Efficient and reliable distribution technology: Quickly and securely distribute GIS data from the cloud GIS center to edge nodes
- Flexible and convenient distribution method: Automatic distribution by region or level, unattended throughout the process; New append distribution mode.
- Plentiful distribution data types: Local files, vector, and raster tiles, WebP tiles, 3D terrain and model tiles; New image tiles
- Powerful service distribution capability: SuperMap REST Map, SuperMap REST 3D service, vector tile service, OGC standard service, third-party service
- Edge analysis and computing
- Edge dynamic mapping: Rendering based on local data, PostGIS, and HBase data
- Edge data query: Spatial query and attribute query based on local data, PostGIS, and HBase data
- Edge processing analysis: measurement, coordinate transformation, spatial relationship, and spatial operation
- Edge cloud-native deployment mode
- Based on the K8s technology, a multi-node iEdge cluster created with one click improves the efficiency of proxy service.
- One set of service configurations shared between nodes is mutually backed up to improve the stability of proxy service.
- Provide an automatic scaling mechanism based on CPU thresholds, taking into account both performance and resource utilization
